Setting up Guild Amenities
(Information is from this post at the EQ2 forums)
Rank 1: Visitor
Remaining ranks: Friend
Officer / Leader: Trustee
Some amenities are set via the Guild Hall Door, some are set at the amenity itself (depots), and some are automatically set to visitor. If you do not see a way to set the amenity at the Guild Hall door or on the amenity itself, assume it is already set to visitor and can't be changed.
Amenities:
Go to the Guild Hall door and right click. Select Access and then the Amenities Tab. You can narrow your list by using the tab at the top. Most of the amenities can be set to visitor with no effect on the guild other than making it more visitor friendly.
There are a few amenities you should think about before setting to visitor.
Depots:
You must go to each depot, open it and at the top of the contents you will see two tabs, the default when you open the depot is Items tab and the second tab is Permissions.
Click on the Permissions tab, default is is set to: Trustee
Set Depots according to Preference, suggestion(s) below: Also make sure after choosing permissions you click the CONFIRM at the bottom of the permissions tab or no settings are saved!
All Depots BUT Harvest:
Deposit: Two choices for these depending on size and activity of your guild and your preferences.
Withdraw: Friend or Trustee depending on your guild.
Harvest Depot:
Deposit:
Withdraw: Trustee
BEWARE: The new amalgamations allow anyone who uses your harvesting depot to completely deplete the resources in a very short period of time.

There are a few amenities you should think about before setting to visitor.
- Mender: If your Guild pays no cost towards repairs, then set to Visitor (via GH door amenity tab) if you subsidize repairs, keep it set to Friend (via GH door amenity tab)
- Harvesting NPCs: You may want to set these to Friend via the GH door so that visitors can't pick up the harvests.
- If you have purchased the GH crafting stations as amenities, you may want to set these to friend if you want to control crafting in the guild hall.

- Set to Friend (this way new recruits can't add items they won't have permission to withdraw or consume)
- Set to Visitor to allow anyone to dump extra items into the depots.
Withdraw: Friend or Trustee depending on your guild.
Harvest Depot:
Deposit:
- Friend (this way new recruits can't add items they won't have permission to withdraw or consume)
- Alternatively you can set deposit to visitor in case people want to simply dump harvests in to clear their bags.
Withdraw: Trustee
BEWARE: The new amalgamations allow anyone who uses your harvesting depot to completely deplete the resources in a very short period of time.
